Uncertainty & Possibility – New Approaches to Future Making in Design Anthropology

Uncertainty and Possibility: New Approaches to Future Making in Design Anthropology (Bloomsbury), published in 2018, melds together approaches in design and anthropology, written for students, scholars and practitioners who seek new creative, hopeful and speculative modes of understanding and intervening in future-making.

Written by Yoko Akama, Sarah Pink and Shanti Sumartojo, with contributions from Debora Lanzeni, Elisenda Ardevol, Katherine Moline, Ann Light, Tom Jackson and David Carlin, the book was launched on December 11th 2018 at RMIT University in Melbourne.

A book launch like no other, the event enacted the playful, participatory workshop to create a library of possibilities in dialogue with the book and its themes of uncertainty and possibility.
